23, OVER THE HILL
We’ll give you a run for your money any day, at the council depot where we play. Volunteering at the depot gives us great delight. Some may say we are over the hill, not so say Lilith, Hilary & Bill. We surely go home knackered at night. Moving donations around, amazing what can be found. Items of old, many are new, recycling these items is what we do.
Customers we meet, some just come in for a chat. Others are after a bit of this and that, golf clubs, fishing rods, bicycles, cutlery, crockery many books too.
Many items get donated, sometimes Bill gets a bit frustrated. Lilith enjoys keeping the books in order, gee we really should applaud her. Books on all different matter ,Lilith loves to have a chatter.
Hilary comes in for a muse, always looking for something she can use. Dog beds are her delight, knowing the dogs at the refuge will sleep well at night.
