51, MEMORIES OF OLD
No, it is'nt snowing, Yes, it's very cold. Something tells me I must be getting old.I'm wrapped up in a blanket, by the fireside, thinking of days gone bywhen I used to slip and slide.
Time has passed by quickly since I was a boy. I remember as a young one I never had a toy. Things were pretty tough then. The war had broken out and very oftenwe had another blackout. The thunder of the war planesoften made me cry.I would hide in my bed and listen to them thunder by. Now the war is over, many lives lost, really what does war cost? With the battle is over, what was gained,Not so much when many have been killed and maimed. With war over, lets's give peace another go.It must be time for me to look and see if we have snow.
